Stockholm University hereby invites applications for a position asSenior Lecturer in Computer and Systems Sciences, with a specialisation in Systems AnalysisSystems analysis deals with the study of complex, dynamic systems, often under uncertainty. This position in computer and systems sciences with a specialisation in systems analysis has a particular focus on mathematical and statistical modelling under uncertainty.Job DescriptionThe work consists of lecturing, developing courses, and examination of students in the department’s courses at basic and advanced level, especially within, but not limited to, systems analysis. Initially, the position contains 30% of full time for personal develop­ment including research, but the successful applicant is supposed to apply for additional funding for research.Qualification requirementsEligible for employment are applicants holding a PhD and also having adequate teaching experience. A successful applicant should also possess administrative and cooperative skills. Basis for assessmentDuring the evaluation of the candidates, strong and equal emphasis will be put on scien­tific and pedagogical skills. Strong emphasis will also be put on modelling capabilities within mathematics and mathematical statistics.
